How hard could it be???

I let my Dutch in me show this weekend.
My dear little Josie needed her hair cut.(Reminder Josie is a dog).I do not want anyone calling DHS thinking I did this to a child.
I has bought a set of dog clippers thinking I would save $$$$$$ and clip Josie myself. How hard can it be to give a dog a trim???Any Tom,Dick or Harry can cut hair i thought.Maybe Tom Dick and Harry can but Mr. Brian can not.Poor little Josie, she looks ?????Well lets just say I hope it looks good in a few weeks.
The top of her little head looks like one of those hair cuts all of us have given our self at one time, our now your kids are giving themselves.LOLOLOL I keep telling her it will grow.In the mean time she refuses to be seen in public and asks to only go out after dark...Well maybe not that bad but I will think twice about doing that again.
I just hope it grows fast.
Lesson learned...... giving a haircut to Josie + saving money = a not so cute dog.

Try the same thing with a long haired cat!!! With scissors, because she wouldn't stay still for the electic clippers.

NOT a fun experience... for the cat or me. She ended up looking so odd! She would just glare at me with those slitted cat eyes.

And, in answer to your question, no. I'd probably pass you.

Tell Becky to come over and take a picture so you can post it! That's funny.....poor Josie....looks now like now you'll be spending extra money on doggie treats to get yourself out of the dog house! Get it....bahahahahaha! ;) WOOF!

euphamism for Josie= Brian. Sure sure, just wear a baseball cap until your lid fills in.

Just be thankful you weren't practicing on a kid but that's my own secret story . . . put down the sheers and scissors and step away from that dog!!

Oh man. I know what you are talking about! We cut Eli's hair at home. It's working out well, now that we know what we are doing. But every once in a while something goes a little wrong and there will be a missing piece of hair somewhere. Oh well. Poor Josie, at least she's cooler in the heat.
