Dialysis takes a long time to sink in. It will be a good six weeks before it even makes sense and you can notice things out of place, etc. You will feel comfortable setting up machines after a week or two and the theory will sink in later. I am a dialysis nurse and haven't worked in dialysis for the past 6 years. I know I could jump back in and feel comfortable in no time. I miss it so much and can't wait because they may build a satellite unit near me soon. I will be the first in line at the door! I LOVE IT! Email with questions if you want.
